Dr. Bilal Aijaz is a board certified Internist, Cardiologist and Vascular specialist with particular expertise in a wide variety of minimally invasive procedures involving the heart and blood vessels. He has over 15 years of cardiovascular experience. 

He has received exceptional training at world renowned hospitals including Mayo Clinic, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center -Harvard Medical School & Tufts University, and currently holds an academic faculty appointment with the University of Colorado, Denver. He has published on numerous topics and presented at national and international conferences. 

He is passionate about improving delivery of health care, reducing medical errors and providing the best care to patients. He has been a member of several adverse event committees and frequently reviews cases involving medical errors and complications. He is a life-long learner and a strong patient advocate - constantly striving to improve health care.
